Prior to opening the first EXIT office in the region, regional owner Alan Dirks wanted to be a part of something better. With extensive experience in investments and knowing the needs of a stable business from years in the corporate world and as a small business owner, he examined the EXIT System through the eyes of an entrepreneur. After researching a number of franchise models, he realized EXIT fit the vision of creating a future for agents and brokerage owners that had never been there before.
Alan's focus is to continue to grow both regions through a tight network of brokerages that work together in order to succeed. Through many efforts, the region continues to attract many talented and entreprenurial associates and brokers.

Karen has worked with EXIT since its inception in the Minnesota and Wisconsin Regions. With over 10 years of experience in administrative and business management, four of those years specifically in real estate sales and office management, Karen brings a practical approach to brokerage building.
She currently helps franchise owners with the transition of opening an office through the Quick Start Program as well as ongoing support with existing brokers. She also manages all the contractual requirements for each franchise.
Thanks to a diverse background and multi-lingual skills, she provides additional help to the offices through press releases and public relations, marketing and events, as well as the developing materials for the Spanish-speaking communities.
Karen also serves on the Board of Officers for the Twin Cities Women's Council of Realtors. This is her second year serving with the WCR Board. ( http://twincitieswcr.org/ )
